It never fails...when we take Madison on a public outing, about 10 to 14 days later, she ends up sick. It's a pitfall of being a stay-at-home child...She doesn't get much "germ exposure".
Week before last, Madison and her mom visited Chuck E. Cheese while I visited the doctor's office. This week, Madison is fighting off a case of "the croup".
Maddie's mom always puts the humidifier in her bedroom whenever Madison gets a cold or a cough. This time was no different, except this time Madison says to her mom, "Take that thing out of my room, it makes me cough!" Madison is smart enough to associate the humidifier with coughing--she just doesn't realize that it is HELPING the cough instead of CAUSING it.
Madison, you are a funny, funny girl...
