Books, Books, and More Books...

I love books.
I didn't have many books when I was growing up, but I've made up for it during my adulthood. I made sure that my children always had plenty of books to read.
When I worked at school, I made sure that the students had plenty of books to read.
Now that I have grandchildren, I have built a nice library of children's books for them to read as well.

My daughter, Brandy, has always loved to read. It wasn't uncommon for her to read well over one-hundred books during summer break from school.
One year she even read over two-hundred!

Madison seems to already share our love of books.
She's loved books since she was old enough to sit up.
Now that she's going to preschool, we have an opportunity to purchase scholastic books. I love it!
I feel like I'm at school again.

The first month of school, scholastic had a great sale on books.
Madison's mama and I had a great time shopping for new books.
Madison is having a great time enjoying the new additions to her library!

Brandy says that one of Madison's new favorites is "Go Dog, Go.
Ah, the memories that book conjures up.
I've listened to many, many students read that book.
Before I know it, I'll be listening to Madison read it, too.
Then I'll feel like I'm at school once again!

Love and a love of reading, a wonderful start for Maddie. Precious precious visual of an enduring gift of spirit, knowledge, entertainment and adventure that you and her mom are giving her.

I don't think there is any talent that is more worth developing than that of the love of reading. My grands love it too as do my children...and I finally got MyHero to start reading too! Hugs- Diana
