Friday's Giveaway Contest...True or False Game
The children's giveaway has been substituted this week with a prize for mom! I must to have time to get this prize to the winner before Thanksgiving. I will have the children's giveaway next weekend.
It's Friday and time for my weekend giveaway. My prize this week is for the Thanksgiving cook! Since someone will be busy in the kitchen cooking the Thanksgiving meal--here's a beautiful dish towel to dry your hands on--after washing them with the Bath and Bodyworks Lemon kitchen soap. I absolutely love this soap because it removes the smell of things like onions and celery from my hands!
To have up to 3 chances to win the gift bag containing these items, just answer the 3 following true/false questions correctly in the form of a comment. For example: #1 is true (or whatever it is...)
1. Cade cried when Brad and his girlfriend piled toilet paper on top of him...(true or false)
2. Madison got a stuffed Donald Duck for her souvenir at Disney On Ice...(true or false)
3. Cade and Madison went to The Pumpkin Patch together last month...(true or false)
That's it! I will enter your name in the drawing one time for each correct answer. The answers can be found in posts from the past 3 weeks. This contest ends on Sunday night 11/15/-9 at 12:00 EST The winner will be announced on Monday morning. Good luck to all, and thanks so much for visiting MiMi's Mini Tales...
This Little Fellow Will Soon Be 1...
I can hardly believe it's been 5 months since this photograph was taken. I just had to share it with you! Doesn't he look like a little doll? Cade always makes such good pictures--and I can't make up my mind which ones that I like the best...
My favorite "Little Man" turns 11 months old today! It does not seem like that long ago that he was born! I can hardly remember life without him. He's a busy little fellow these days...exploring everything! I suspect that he may be walking by his first birthday. In fact, he walks now, but not without holding on to something.
I haven't had my weekly visit with Cade yet, and I've missed him. His mother switched her work schedule around and has been working when she is usually off, I think. Hopefully I'll get some "Cade Time" soon. I miss seeing those twinkling blue eyes!
As always, thanks so much for stopping by...Kathy

Maddie Loves To Eat At MiMi's House...
One thing Madison gets honest from both of her parents (and her grandparents) is the fact that she loves to eat. When she was younger, she would eat anything. Now that she's gotten older, her tastes have changed and she's a bit pickier, but she still enjoys eating. Chicken nuggets have been her favorite for a while now. I think that she might start to cackle any day now...
For some reason, Madison especially likes to eat at "MiMi's house". Almost every day she will beg to eat at my house. Sometimes Brandy will bring Madison's lunch over to my house, just so she can eat at "MiMi's house".
Night before last, Madison ate supper with my husband and me. She was thrilled that she was eating with us. As we sat there eating, she was busy chattering away. I told her that after she ate her supper I would try to find something for dessert. She looked up at me, with a big grin and said "Perfect". The moment was priceless... Don't you just love kids?

Tuesday Blog Hop--Home School or Regular School?
Madison recently turned 3 years old. Before we know it, it will be time to think about school. In fact, Brandy is already doing a little pre-school program with her at home. So far Madison has learned to recognize the letter "A", the number "1", the shape "square", all about cows, what animals live in the jungle, and more. That's just two weeks of lessons--a few minutes a day.
My question to readers is this: Do you prefer home schooling or regular schooling, and why? I'd love to hear your opinions and/or experiences! I'd appreciate it if you'd take a moment to share with me. Thanks so much for hopping by...Kathy

Madison Goes To Disney On Ice...
Madison and her family had a busy and fun day on Saturday. They had tickets to Disney on Ice for the show "Finding Nemo".
They left home before 9:00 am to make the trip to the city in time for the 11:00 show. Madison called me during intermission to tell me that she had seen Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. She was very excited! She loves Disney characters almost as much as her mother does. Brandy said the show was very good, and they enjoyed it a lot.
Madison got a stuffed Goofy for her souvenir of the trip. He's dressed exactly like the Goofy who skated during the introduction of the show. Brandy tried to get Madison to get a Donald Duck, but she wasn't having any of that...Have I mentioned that Madison is getting very set in her ways? She's the third generation of this...
Following the Disney show, Madison took a trip to Toys R Us to look around and get some ideas for what she might like for Christmas. Brandy says that the only thing that Madison showed any interest in was a pretend kitchen that costs $175.00! Madison will not be getting that! It did dispense "pretend" ice cubes from the refrigerator, among other things, but for that price the ice cubes should be real!
Madison and her family returned from their trip to the city around 7:30 Saturday night. She was so excited and "wound up" that she couldn't be still or quiet. I'm not sure, but I think that she thoroughly enjoyed herself!
Now for the best moment of Monday...the announcement of the winner(s) of my weekend giveaway. I have two lucky winners today! I figured since I had 2 activity packs, I'd give them both away. The first winner chosen was...Amanda. The second winner chosen was rubynreba. Congratulations to both of you. Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to stop by and play the game....Kathy
