I love Saturdays! It's time to play Six Word Saturday again! You know...where I get to describe my life...or something...in just six words! SWS is the brain child of Cate at http://www.showmyface.com/ If you want to have some fun, hop on over and give it a try!
Now for my six words for this week:
Electric hand dryers make me depressed:(
You know, those new super powerful hand dryers that they have in the ladies' room these days...the ones that almost blow the skin off of your hands...when I put my hands under them and turn those suckers on, I am painfully aware of how loose and old the skin on my hands is becoming...What ever happened to that young-looking, skin that used to be on my hands? Oh, I know! It's on my daughter's hands! My hands now look painfully similar to the way my mother's hands looked--when she was in the nursing home....Good day friends...Kathy

Funnily enough I rued the state of my hands today and I didn't need a hand dryer to draw attention to them. I know what you mean - it's a shock when realisation dawns - and keeps returning ;-)
Kathy,...I have a hard time keeping people straight because I follow so many people...and because I have so many "senior moments" these days! Ha! But it seems you are on top of things by not only posting once,...but twice today from your separate blogs for SWS!
So Kathy,...or Mimi, (:>)...I too have noticed my aging hands and I once did a post on it called "Grandma's Hands".
It is true that they do show our age,...but in a way it is a thing of honor like gray hair is the crown of old men! ((smile))
Have a good day!

Believe me, I know exactly what you mean. And I won't even mention anything about the inside of the inside of the arms when we put our hands over our heads. I can remember the first time I looked down and saw my mother's hand coming out of my sleeve.
Howdy neighbor!
Greetings from Casa Hice in Jacksonville, Florida! Followed you over from Cate’s blog to read your Six Word Saturday and am smitten! Love your blog!
Subscribing to follow you immediately!
Please stop by Casa Hice for a visit when you have time. Would love to get better acquainted!
PS: My comment follows my dear friend Jeanie's. Is she a hoot or what? Love her - and you!
Aging - not for the faint hearted.
Cheers!

Kathy, You look great. Wrinkles or not love ya. I always say I have earned my wrinkles and my gray hair lol...
LOL, I can so relate about the hands; I see my mom's hands when I look at mine but then realize they do indeed belong to me
just stopped by checking out all the 6-word Saturday entries this week :)
enjoy Sunday :)
betty
Aww, they don't make me depressed because I think of how it saved some trees.
